I felt that after so much time at college, and the nature of the design and work required for the degree I got, I figured it was only fitting to make my own diploma frame! To throw some more orange and purple in the project, the two woods I used are purpleheart for the outside layers and bocote for the inside layer.

This was another diploma frame I made for a friend, the woods are ash and walnut wood. These projects have been very useful in sharpening my abilities to create miter joints, I still have a ways to go though!

Here’s another diploma frame I made for my cousin, also a Clemson grad! This is Hickory wood with a purpleheart strip in the middle.

This one is made with mahogany wood for a fellow Clemson Cru alumni! This has a sort of reveal on the backside that makes it look like its protruding off the wall, which actually came about because of an accident, but ended up working out!

The following frames are a set I made for my wife to display her diploma and license in her office, after she became a licensed counselor! The larger frame is made with hickory and mahogany wood, and the smaller frame is all mahogany, so they look like a set when mounted together..
